A number of miscellaneous additions this time around.

A few weeks ago, a ProsePoint Express user emailed us asking about liability and other legal issues to consider when running an online news site. This caught us somewhat unprepared. After all, we're not lawyers, nor do we want to spend our time (and our users time) speculating about something we're not experts in. We'd always planned to concentrate on our strengths - technology - so our users can concentrate on theirs.

It's been a busy last couple of weeks, but we have finally implemented a long standing feature request. We have added a search capability to ProsePoint Express sites.

It's not just a simple nor basic search engine either. ProsePoint Express uses Apache Solr, a "popular, blazing fast open source enterprise search platform" which also powers many of the world's largest Internet sites.

Now you can use the same technology for your ProsePoint Expres site too!

There are only a couple of new features this time around. We've been busy with things inside of ProsePoint Express itself rather than changes visible to end users.

(Don't worry, there are some very useful features coming up, but they're just taking a while to come to fruition.)

aeroTELEGRAPH is a niche news publication covering aviation topics for German speakers in Europe. Despite the technical nature of its subject, the website caters for the interested general public.

aeroTELEGRAPH selected ProsePoint Express as its website content management system because it could produce 'real news sites'. Previously, they had looked at blogs and other website software, but found that the appearance didn't look like a news site - It was just a long collection of articles.

Saanj News is a newspaper website for Saanj, a social network convering a variety of Canadian and Indian topics. They were looking to create a newspaper website for their members and also expand the reach of their audience.

In the search for a solution, Saanj tried many alternatives but they each had certain limitations and the end result didn't look good enough for a news website.

Then they came across ProsePoint Express which did produce great looking results. After reading the documentation, Saanj decided it was the best system for their newspaper website.

Not as much to post this time. There have been some improvements going on under the hood, but the changes won't be apparent to users. There are just a couple of visible feature additions.
